How I make clients' Tweets go viral?

The algorithm can be your friend

Here’s a little golden nugget for you. I’ll make this short and quick.

We primarily use this one tactic in our Twitter strategy for our clients. It works like a charm about 80-90% of the time.

Storytelling via Tweet threads as ‘long form content’.

Every platform wants its users to spend more time on it. So the algorithm rewards the type of content that hold keep users’ attention, even for a couple of dozen seconds.

These Tweets get much more exposure over regular Tweets within the platform, simply because they keep people's attention for longer.

Plus, long Tweet threads capture users’ attention far better than their single counterparts. At least that’s what we’ve experienced with our social strategy team.

This tactic is used by many influencers such as Naval Ravikanth, Noah Kegan, etc. Their threads have been retweeted and shared off-platform thousands of times.

Just make sure that you're not doing this every single time you Tweet. Just sprinkle them among your regular Tweets just enough to make them stand out, but not so much that users get jaded by them.

Till next time.

-Jay.
